How HPU helped you get there: “HPU has encouraged me to step outside my comfort zone and pushed me to try new things. My job interview process was over lunch with my employer and supervisor, and 1924 Prime definitely helped me feel comfortable in that setting.”
Most impactful mentor at HPU: “I cannot pinpoint just one mentor. I have had so many people help me in just my first year at High Point University. My peer mentor, my friends, my teachers and definitely my success coach, Mike Casasan.”
What has your internship experience been like, and how is it preparing you for your future?: “My internship experience has been enjoyable so far. I am into my fourth week and have loved working in the labs, creating formulations, and running diagnoses on them. Everyone here is very friendly, and I have been exposed to so many different careers. I am studying physics and entrepreneurship, but this chemical lab internship has allowed me to really tap back into an old interest of mine.”
