“My most impactful mentor at HPU was Dr. Erica Horhn, instructor of English. Since taking one of her classes my first semester at HPU, she intentionally made a point to check in on me throughout my time at HPU.”

“My most impactful moments at HPU were while spending time at the weekly food trucks on campus. It was my way of rewarding myself when classes would get overwhelming and was the perfect reset for the week.”

“HPU’s inspiring and open-door environment contributed to my success by allowing me to feel comfortable reaching out when I needed help.”
What are the life skills HPU helped you develop that prepared you for long-term success?
“HPU helped me develop exceptional time management skills that I will take with me into my next chapter. Juggling classes, Army ROTC, and other clubs and organizations, gave me the skills that have prepared me for a fast-paced environment in graduate school.”
What are the values and virtues HPU’s campus helped you develop that you’ll take with you after graduation?
“HPU instilled in me the value of treating others with kindness because you never know what someone is going through. Even the smallest act of kindness can brighten someone’s day.”
