How HPU helped you get there:
“HPU helped me select classes that taught me valuable lessons for my future. In job interviews, companies were very impressed with my advanced knowledge of the marketing field. I was also encouraged to reach out to alumni on LinkedIn to find potential job opportunities.”
Most impactful moment at HPU:
“During my four years on the women’s ice hockey team, I learned leadership skills that are continuing to be useful in my life after graduation. I grew out of my shell and learned to be a leader for the younger students on campus. I was very quiet coming into my freshman year, but I am now much more independent and outgoing thanks to HPU.”
How has HPU’s inspiring environment contributed to your success?
“I feel blessed to have lived on HPU’s campus because I always felt safe and cared for in comfortable and clean dorm rooms every year. HPU’s beautiful campus offers pools, places to walk my dog and weekly activities. I was able to take breaks from my school work and enjoy my free time.”
What are the life skills HPU helped you develop that prepared you for long-term success?
“HPU helped me develop time management skills, provided me with real-world experience within my classes and gave me opportunities to collaborate with others.”
Advice for underclassmen:
“Enjoy your time at HPU! Your four years will go by so fast. Don’t stress about job applications because HPU will set you up for success. You will learn invaluable lessons in classes that other schools don’t offer to their students.”
