How HPU helped you get there:
“HPU helped me gain confidence in my public speaking skills. Prior to coming to HPU, I never thought I would be comfortable speaking in front of a group of people, even in a small meeting. The courses at HPU helped me strengthen my public speaking skills. The Office of Career and Professional Development reviewed my resume and taught me tips and tricks to use when applying for jobs. The staff was eager to help me in every way possible.”
Most impactful mentor at HPU:
“Larry Quinn, director of the Professional Selling Program and chair of the Department of Marketing and Sales, prepared me for my future with his sales course. Participating in role-play activities every class benefitted me in every aspect of my life. I always knew I could count on Professor Quinn to help me perfect my elevator pitch.”
Most impactful moment at HPU:
“My most impactful moment at HPU was being the Greek Week representative for my sorority, Alpha Chi Omega. I connected with the sisters in my chapter and used the skills I learned in my classes to lead activities and network with other Greek chapters on campus.”
How has HPU’s inspiring environment contributed to your success?

I am so grateful to have been a member of a community of people who motivate each other to reach their goals.”
What are the values and virtues HPU’s campus helped you develop that you’ll take with you after graduation?
“One value that is very important to me is from the First-Year Seminar on Life Skills with HPU President Nido Qubein. President Qubein said that we are who we spend time with, meaning that surrounding yourself with people who are motivated and push you to be your best will help you succeed.”
