The HPU Employee Wellness Program began in 2013 as a participation, points-based program to help employees improve their health and wellness journey. By participating in various wellness activities, employees who elect to take High Point University’s medical plan can potentially earn a $600 premium reduction for the 2021-2022 benefits plan year.
All employees regardless of enrollment in the HPU Medical Plan are eligible to participate in activities sponsored by the Employee Wellness Program.
Mission: Employee wellness provides individualized, accessible and comprehensive wellness education and resources which support and empower employee to reduce health risks and embrace a higher quality of life and well-being.
Vision: The vision of the Employee Wellness Program is to establish a culture which fosters the holistic well-being of faculty and staff who lead healthy, extraordinary lives, are caring people, and model wellness to inspire our campus and community.
It is with great excitement that the Employee Wellness Program is here to serve the faculty and staff at High Point University; we are on a great journey toward wellness. The role of Employee Wellness is to celebrate the joys and help you navigate through the struggles of life.
