About: Situated behind Congdon Hall are many plants that are used either medicinally throughout history and in modern medicines. This garden was the idea of Dr. Ron Reagan, the founding dean of HPU’s Fred Wilson School of Pharmacy. He wanted pharmacy students to see plants used to treat everything, from congestive heart failure to leukemia, up-close. It’s supported by Dr. Wade Markham and his wife, Lois, who both worked in the medical field for decades.
