About: Incorporated within the landscape surrounding Congdon Hall are many plants that are used either directly or indirectly for medicinal use. This garden was the idea of Dr. Ron Reagan, the founding dean of HPU’s Fred Wilson School of Pharmacy. He wanted pharmacy students to see. plants used to treat everything, from congestive heart failure to leukemia, up-close. Interpretive material can be found guiding visitors throughout this garden. It’s supported by by Dr. Wade Markham and his wife, Lois, who bathed worked in the medical field for decades.
