Location: Beside the Millis Center
Featured Plants: Southern Indica azalea (Rhododendron indicum ‘Formosum’); Autumn Chiffon™ Encore Azalea® (Rhododendron ‘Robled’); pine trees, hydrangeas, camellias, and shrubs.
About: At least 100 azaleas, along with hydrangeas and bottlebrush buckeye, grow beside the Millis Center, underneath a stand of pine trees. The garden unveils a sweep of golden juniper, which gives portions of the garden the look of having a carpet of gold. An amazing blend of the azaleas, hydrangeas and camellias complement other shrubs and perennials in this new garden. It overlooks the High Point Greenway and athletic fields.
