About: Considered a microclimate because of the asphalt and brick at the pool, this garden radiates heat. This unique feature lessens the impact of winter and helps the survival of plants that could struggle during the colder months. The garden, beside the pool supported by trustee Kay Maynard and her husband, Dusty, features a blend of hardy and seasonal plants and gives a taste of the tropics right here in High Point, NC.
