HPU Law Welcomes Director of Career Development to Growing Team

250714 John Kasprzak 001

As High Point University’s Kenneth F. Kahn School of Law quickly prepares to enroll its second class of students, our focus on student support is only growing. These efforts include assistance for students gaining internships while in law school  as well as preparing them for careers upon graduation. Over 30 students in our inaugural class are currently in, or will soon be in, judicial internships this summer.

Now spearheading the law school’s career services efforts is our new Director of Career Development, John Kasprzak. John brings a wealth of expertise to the role, having worked closely with students in various roles at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and North Carolina Central University for nearly two decades. This includes service as the Assistant Dean for Student Services and then the Assistant Dean for Student Development at the UNC School of Law. Commenting on the new appointment, Founding Dean and Professor of Law Mark Martin said,

We are thrilled to welcome John to the law school and know that our students will come to rely on his extraordinary experience and talents as they prepare for their future careers throughout the public and private legal sectors.
