Academic Seal

Using The Academic Seal

The academic seal embodies the prestigious High Point University legacy. Its use is rare and strictly permitted with direct approval. Items using the academic seal should be of high quality and may or may not feature embossing or engraving. The seal should neither be modified nor altered in any way and should be displayed in the ways outlined in the Brand Standards Guide. There are no exceptions. The Academic Seal is only used for diplomas or at the discretion of the Office of the President.

Academic Seal Color Variations

It is crucial that the academic seal remains consistent. For this reason, color variations are limited and few. The seal must not vary from primary brand colors which include:

  • Purple; Pantone 2685
  • Metallic Silver; Pantone 8400
  • White or Black
  • Blind emboss or gold foil stamp is also permissible

Roberts Hall Wordmark Use

The Roberts Hall wordmark may be used in place of the traditional wordmark. This wordmark has been historically used on printed materials and merchandise produced and used by the university. However, it is not used on external merchandise to be sold at retail. The Roberts Hall wordmark must always be used in conjunction with “High Point University.” It is never to stand alone without our full name. Additionally, the Roberts Hall logo must appear smaller in proportion to the name. The one-line and two-line wordmarks must also include the “The Premier Life Skills University” tagline as shown.

High Point University is moving away from the use of the Roberts Hall Wordmark, however it is still widely used across campus and is not yet considered an inactive logo.
