HPU Class Visits

The Culp Planetarium represents a state-of-the-art classroom, with software and programming that covers not just astronomy, but also biology, Earth science, engineering, mathematics, cultural anthropology, and more! HPU faculty & staff are welcome to reserve the planetarium for a special class visit or other event. We can schedule something as simple as a showing of one of our fulldome movies, but we’re also happy to develop more interactive programming for your class using Starry Night (astronomy), Zygote Body (anatomy), or The Layered Earth (Earth science). Just let us know your needs!

If you’re interested in scheduling a class visit or other event in the planetarium, please use the button in the top right to submit a request. One of our staff members will respond within 48 hours. Because the planetarium is heavily used for classes, public shows, and field trip visits, we recommend that you check out its availability beforehand on 25live. The room is listed as “WSUS 214.”
