The Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commissions on Colleges (SACSCOC) is the regional body for the accreditation of higher education institutions in the southern United States and Latin America.  Reaffirmation of accreditation occurs every 10 years and is critical to our university’s reputation and ability to recruit students and ensure their acceptance to graduate program, access federal grants, and receive federal financial aid.

High Point University is accredited by the Commission on Colleges of the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools to award bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral degrees.  Contact the Commission on Colleges at 1866 Southern Lane, Decatur, Georgia 30033-4097 or call 404-679-4501 for questions about the accreditation of High Point University.
