How HPU helped you get there:
“HPU provided me with many opportunities for research and collaboration with my mentors and professors. Being involved in campus organizations like the Natural Science Fellows and the Pre-PA Club, as well as opportunities for undergraduate research, pushed me to excel academically and allowed me to build exceptional relationships within the science community at HPU. I am grateful for my experiences at HPU that have prepared me for graduate school and beyond!”
Most impactful mentor at HPU:
“Dr. Keir Fogarty, assistant professor of chemistry and co-director of Natural Science Fellows, was my most impactful mentor and friend during my undergraduate years at HPU. He pushed me to think outside the box and to have patience when things don’t go correctly at first. He gave me great advice that I can apply to all aspects of my life and helped me prepare for PA school interviews. He is always there for his students, and I feel so lucky to know him!”
Most impactful moment at HPU:
“My most impactful moment at HPU was an advanced anatomy course I took during my junior year. The class allowed me to learn about the human body in great detail. This class was very intellectually challenging and allowed me to gain confidence in an area of anatomy that I hadn’t yet studied. Cutting open my first cadaver was a rewarding experience that helped solidify my decision to apply to PA school.”

“HPU’s inspiring environment helped provide me with opportunities to grow. HPU pushed my limits academically and socially to prepare me for graduate school and my first job.”
