Engaging Underrepresented Male Students
iBELONG Male Mentoring Program is a program funded by North Carolina Independent Colleges & Universities (NCICU) that works to assist North Carolina campuses in engaging underrepresented male students in social and academic coaching and mentoring, as well as provide programmatic elements to focus on engagement, persistence, workforce development, cultural connections, and graduation attainment.

Preparing for the Working World
HPU's inaugural cohort is comprised of 15 selected men of color. We anticipate the Beta cohort in Fall 2023 to add an additional 15-20 gentlemen. Scheduled gatherings are crafted to position and prepare young men for the working world as it is going to be through coaching and making resources available for them to explore various career opportunities, be well-rounded, and be top-notch competitors.
Empowering for Success
