The Life Skills and Executive Leadership Development Program is a distinctive way for students to experience, practice, and enhance life skills, critical thinking, professionalism and work ethic, teamwork, communication, influence, coaching, and boundary spanning leadership competencies. This is a an exclusive, competitive, internship program where selected individuals will learn about organizational leadership, life skills and leadership development that goes well beyond the typical internship. Through this program, the Office of Career and Professional Development works collaboratively with employers to offer High Point University students unique opportunities to maximize their workforce readiness and potential for career success. We expect students to gain breadth and depth of knowledge in critical competencies that organizations expect their future employees and leaders to possess and make a positive impact in public or private industries.
