ALL IN Campus Democracy Challenge
Thank you for taking the right steps to exercise your most basic civic duty,
voting. The HPU Votes team is here to help you along the way whether
you want to vote here in North Carolina, which you can do as an HPU
student, or in your home state.
TurboVote allows you to register to vote in any state, including on
campus, check an existing registration, help you request an absentee
ballot, get election reminders and so much more.
We urge ALL members of the HPU campus to signup for TurboVote!
Students can register to vote in a number of locations: on-campus voter registration drives (to be announced), Campus Concierge (during election season), the Office of Student Life, Success Coaches and Campus Connectors, and the Guilford County Board of Elections office at 325 East Russell Ave, High Point, NC.
Students can also sign up for TurboVote for additional assistance in registering to vote.
We encourage you to check the Campus Vote Project Student State Guide to learn more about your state’s deadline to register to vote. You can also verify the date at the U.S. Vote Foundation Election Dates and Deadlines page.
Students can also sign up for TurboVote for additional assistance.
You can check your voter registration status and voter record at the National Association of Secretaries of State website.
You can only vote where you are registered. While you are allowed to be registered to vote in multiple districts, you are only permitted to vote in ONE election per cycle.
However, you must update your voter registration if your location has changed (including dorms). If you are uncertain, check your registration status at the HPU TurboVote.
Check your voter registration to find which location is your voting location.
You can go to an early polling location and register on site before casting your vote until the last day of early voting.
You can also go to the Guilford County Board of Elections website to see which locations you can vote at and its hours during early voting
Shuttles will transport students to early voting polls and polls on election day. Please contact Campus Concierge to for more information.
Additionally you can contact [email protected].
