When to Use This Form

Faculty may lodge concerns about a particular proposal or existing course by submitting this form.

Possible concerns include, but are not limited to:

  • Impacts an existing degree program in a way not addressed in the proposal
  • Duplicates an existing course or curriculum offering
  • Raises concerns about academic rigor
  • Includes Learning Outcomes or course-level expectations that may not be appropriate

Curricular Concern forms will be reviewed by APIRC.
