Faculty Review

Proposals Under Faculty Review

About Faculty Review

During the Faculty Review period, faculty members are invited to review proposed curriculum changes and provide feedback on proposals that may affect their courses, programs, or areas of expertise.

Proposals are available for review for seven days. Unless a faculty member submits a Curricular Concern form, proposals move forward to the Office of the Registrar and receive final approval after the seven-day review period.

When Should I Submit a Curricular Concern?

Faculty may submit a Curricular Concern form if they believe a proposal:

  • Impacts an existing degree program in a way not addressed in the proposal
  • Duplicates an existing course or curriculum offering
  • Raises concerns about academic rigor
  • Includes Learning Outcomes or course-level expectations that may not be appropriate
