Universidad Nebrija
Madrid, Spain
Immerse yourself in Spanish language and culture while studying a small university setting in Spain's bustling capital city, Madrid. Universidad Nebrija is a top-ten Spanish University with a make-up of about 5,000 students and a student-teacher ratio of 15:1. Each year, Nebrija welcomes more than 1,000 international students into its various programs, making every effort to integrate them into daily university life and allowing them to take advantage of a flexible curriculum. In many programs, students attend classes side-by-side with Spanish students in their area of specialization; design their own curriculum, taking courses of their choice within a given school; combine classes taught in English and in Spanish; or take only courses in Spanish Language and Culture to enhance their level of Spanish.

This program is designed primarily for Spanish majors and minors. Courses at Universidad Nebrija are taught in Spanish and pairing the Hispanic Studies Programs courses with the immersive campus environment and homestay accommodations, students will have the tools to progress their language proficiency and understanding of local culture.

Located in Madrid, Universidad Nebrija has two campuses in town, in the university area, and one campus in a natural park on the outskirts of the city. It also has a center exclusively dedicated to the teaching of Spanish Language and Culture.

International students become Nebrija students, with access to all activities and general services (such as Nebrija’s libraries, computer labs, sports, and facilities) and all extra-curricular activities as well. There is so much to do and experience both while staying on campus at the university and even while enjoying daily activities in the city of Madrid.
