Admission and Pricing
For the MHA Certificate in Advanced Leadership and Strategic Management for Healthcare Professionals non-degree applicants must submit an online application, official transcripts from all colleges attended (including High Point University), a resume, a non-degree essay, one professional reference using the provided form, and any supplemental information required by the MHA program as outlined in the Graduate School Bulletin. Transfer credit on another transcript is not accepted.
The total cost is $9,180 (9 credits x $1,020 per credit). Tuition rates are subject to change and the final cost will reflect the prevailing rate at the time of enrollment.
The certificate will be delivered entirely online, with no required in-person meetings, and all coursework will be completed asynchronously.

Advanced Leadership Skills – This course builds on foundational leadership principles by emphasizing conflict resolution, change management, ethical decision-making, resilience, and adaptability. It includes case studies, practical exercises, and self-evaluation to develop advanced leadership competencies.
Strategic Management in Healthcare Organizations – This course teaches strategic thinking and management in healthcare, including market analysis, strategic planning, organizational change implementation, and outcome measurement to ensure sustainable growth and quality care. It integrates business strategy concepts with healthcare-specific policy, legal, and financial considerations.
