Admitted Students Day was a tremendous success, bringing together future High Point Law students and their families for an engaging introduction to our vibrant law school community. Throughout the day, attendees experienced firsthand what it means to be part of the High Point Law family through an interactive mock law school class, informative academic programming, and meaningful conversations with faculty, staff, and current students.
Former North Carolina Supreme Court Chief Justice and Founding Dean Mark Martin welcomed guests to share the vision, values, and future of the institution. Highlighting the supportive and forward-thinking environment of the campus, Dean Martin said: “We are excited for our next class of law students who will be uniquely equipped to lead with purpose and excel in the modern legal landscape. Our goal is to cultivate legal minds that look beyond today, thinking generationally to serve all communities.” Presentations on academic support, career development, and professional readiness further highlighted the comprehensive resources available to guarantee student success. Admitted students also gained valuable, candid insights during a student panel, participated in an open forum, and toured the law school’s state-of-the-art facilities and courtroom. The event provided numerous opportunities for networking and relationship-building, allowing future classmates to form deep connections before even arriving on campus. Most importantly, the day showcased the collaborative, student-centered culture that defines High Point Law, leaving attendees with a strong understanding of their future opportunities and a shared excitement for the journey ahead.
The memorable experience concluded with a relaxed evening at a High Point Rockers baseball game, where students, families, faculty, and staff continued building relationships outside the classroom. This special outing served as a powerful reminder that community is at the heart of everything we do. The connections formed here extend far beyond the classroom, creating a lifetime supportive network that helps our students thrive academically, professionally, and personally throughout their legal careers.
