LEAD Program

Legal Engagement Advancement & Development

The LEAD program is designed to foster timely engagement in career planning, opportunity exploration, and community building among law students. Through training, peer support, and structured meetings, selected upper-level students serve as guides for first-year students as they navigate the transition into the legal profession and begin developing the professional skills necessary for success as lawyers.

The program provides first-year students with consistent access to experienced peers who can share practical insights, encourage engagement with law school resources, and help students stay informed about key timelines and opportunities. At the same time, upper-level students strengthen their own leadership, counseling, and professional development skills through training and active participation in the program.
