The Parent Perspective for Upperclassman Parents: July 2014

Summertime Greetings,

We hope you are enjoying this relaxing time of year and have been able to spend quality time with your HPU student. Parents are our partners and play a vital role in your student’s personal and career development. You know their strengths and personal characteristics better than anyone, so please encourage your student to take full advantage of our professional services.

Our feature article this month is a Four Year Plan for Parents developed by the National Association of Colleges and Employers (NACE). In addition to the Four Year Action Plan for students posted on our website, this “to do list” will be a valuable tool for you. Please review the site to learn more about how you can strategically help your student transition from HPU to the next step in their journey.

Also, we continue to update our website with effective information. We invite you to take a look: https://www.highpoint.edu/careerinternships/.

Thank you for your continued advocacy and support,
