Dear Parent of an HPU Senior,
There are only a few months left until your student will walk across the stage in front of Roberts Hall to receive their High Point University diploma. We want to keep you informed of what Commencement information is being provided to your student during this time.
Commencement Preparation Checklist:
Reserve your hotel room. Click here to view hotels with availability.
Class rings and graduation announcements can be ordered online. Order the announcements by March 6th in order to have them in time to send prior to Commencement.
Undergraduate candidates for graduation must submit a graduation application to the Registrar’s Office by March 13, 2015. Applications are available in the Registrar’s Office and online.
Commencement caps, gowns, and hoods must be ordered by March 14, 2015 online. Students may begin picking up their cap and gown on April 10th at the HPU bookstore in Slane Center.
Last chance for a senior portrait/professional photo: March 25th from 10:00am-7:00pm in the Hayworth Fine Arts Center.
Students must pick up tickets for Onward With Faithful Courage, Baccalaureate, and the Graduation Ceremony (in the event of rain). Tickets will be available April 30th – May 7th at the Slane Campus Concierge desk for students to pick up between the hours of 8:30am and 7:00pm Monday-Friday and 10:00am through 4:00pm on Saturday. Tickets are limited and available on a first come, first served basis so please remind your student to get theirs early.
