The Parent Perspective: May 2015

Dear Parents,

President Qubein reminded HPU’s 2015 graduates this past weekend that the world is anticipating their arrival (see highlights from his senior sendoff speech here). Of course, High Point University helps prepare our students for the global marketplace throughout their entire four-year journey.

Below, you’ll enjoy some examples of success from both our graduating class of 2015 and our current students.  As our graduates begin careers and enter graduate programs, HPU undergraduates begin internships and other experiential learning offerings.

The Class of 2015

Our largest graduating class leaves their campus eager to make the world a better place. Below, you’ll appreciate merely a few examples of our graduates entering esteemed graduate school programs or beginning employment with impressive organizations. These graduates, like so many of their peers, are establishing their own pathways toward a life of both success and significance.

Current Students

Internships are an essential career-building experience for HPU students. Many are already working as interns at companies including Paramount Studios, Bloomberg, Fifth Third Bank, Vanguard, Nielsen, American Diabetes Association, Pfizer Pharmaceuticals, and many more. Click here to see several examples of HPU students gaining practical experience through impactful internship opportunities.

The Class of 2019

In August, we will welcome an energetic and talented freshman class eager to experience our values-based learning environment. As summer arrives, many high school juniors and seniors begin to visit colleges. Please encourage your friends and family members who are seeking a transformational college experience to visit High Point University. Campus visits may be scheduled here. Parent advocacy plays an essential role in the continued development of our institution that has transformed lives since its founding in 1924.

Thank you for your continued support and partnership.
