HPU is focused on preparing students, as President Qubein puts it, “to be job creators, not job takers.” This mission has never been more timely than today as our world is in a constant state of fluctuation.
Our passion to prepare students for the world as it is going to be includes a constant reminder to students that excellence is defined by relevance. And relevance only exists where value is created. From Dr. Qubein’s Freshman Life Skills Seminars, to the 4-year Action Plan developed by the Office of Career and Professional Development, to experiential learning opportunities implemented by stellar faculty, living in an “entrepreneurial zone” is critical for anyone to lead a life of success and significance in today’s rapidly changing economy.
