Every High Point University student receives a unique email address that will become the only account for official High Point University communication. Monitor this account closely for campus announcements, billing information, academic messages, and other important communications. Alumni will retain their HPU email address indefinitely.

Visit and search for Email in the search box for more information about setting email up on your individual devices, iPad/iPhone and Android.

To set up email on an iPhone or iPad:

  • Go to Settings
  • Open Mail, Contacts, Calendars
  • Click Add Account
  • Choose Exchange
  • Enter e-mail, password, and description
  • Click Next

Your account should be added!

If you are brought to a second page, please
complete the following steps:

  • Enter as the server
  • Leave Domain blank
  • Under Username, enter your entire e-mail address.
  • Make sure the Email section includes your e-mail address only once
  • Click Done

Your account has been added!

To set up email on an Android:

    • Go into Settings
    • Choose Accounts
    • Click Add Account
    • Select Corporate or Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync
  • Enter your e-mail address and password
  • Click Manual Setup
  • Under Domain\username, enter your entire e-mail address.
  • Enter as the server
  • Make sure that the Use Secure Connection (SSL) is checked
  • On the Activation window, click OK
  • On the Remote security administration window, click OK
  • Click Next
  • On Update security settings window, click Activate
  • Click Next

Your account has been added!
