The Latin American and Caribbean Studies Minor is an interdisciplinary program focusing on transnational relationships throughout the Americas with an emphasis on the Latin American and Caribbean experience. The program invites students to immerse themselves in the long and complex history and culture of Mexico, the Caribbean, Central America, and South America. Spanning Pre-Columbian to contemporary times, the Minor allows students to explore the literatures, political structures, religions, economies, and forms of artistic expression that characterize the diverse cultures seen throughout the Americas.
