Virtual Production and Extended Reality

The renovated studio includes a 24-foot virtual production wall. Virtual engines track camera position and lens data so students can composite in-studio actors into 3D worlds, a technique used in current feature films and network programming. Few universities offer coursework in it.

The Broadcast Studio

Students work in a 2,000-square-foot, four-camera 4K studio with a 24-foot video wall and DMX-controlled lighting, comparable to network broadcast facilities.

Equipment and Field Production

More than 40 cinema-style camera kits are available for checkout, and students shoot on-location field productions with professional HD and 4K cameras.

Student Production Clubs

  • Vision
