Dear Parent,
This month, we welcomed thousands of families to campus for Spring Family Weekend, as well several thousand future families for Presidential Scholarship Weekends. We are very blessed and thankful.
Because we value your feedback, we invited parents who attended to take a Family Weekend survey. We received overwhelmingly positive responses, as well as many messages of thanks for the life skills and values HPU instills in students. I am not surprised, but I am delighted to see how much our families appreciate HPU’s distinct approach to education.
You’ll appreciate that this month’s Parent Perspective showcases HPU’s commitment to academic innovation and experiential learning through remarkable student achievements and impactful community initiatives. Several global leaders who are part of our Access to Innovators program visited our campus in recent weeks to mentor students, including Apple Co-Founder Steve Wozniak and Former Google Executive Teena Piccione. Both addressed important topics such as AI and the importance of life skills.
HPU’s hands-on educational opportunities are thriving. Our faculty recently expanded the capabilities of the BEACON (Biometric Evaluation, Analytics, Cognitive Observation and Neuromarketing) Laboratory with new hardware and software to enhance biometric research. This is one example of many impressive labs on campus. And Our Office of Career and Professional Development continues offering students several workshops each week. They also hosted 100 national, regional and local employers during HPU’s annual Life Skills Career Summit in our Conference Center this month.
You’ll also love reading about our dedicated students co-hosting a Valentine’s Dance for people with disabilities. They host these dances at Halloween and Christmas, too. These students and the connections they forge with the community are truly remarkable.
As enrollment continues to grow, so do HPU’s academic programs. HPU’s faculty are not only experts in their disciplines, they’re also caring coaches and mentors focused on connecting meaningful experiences to classroom content to create well-rounded individuals ready to take on the world as it is going to be. Our campus is not only equipped with the finest technology for learning, but also engineered to help your student reach their fullest potential.
