Advent Devotional | Day 2

Lorisa Feat 2024

Not only that, but we rejoice in our sufferings, knowing that suffering produces endurance, and endurance produces character, and character produces hope, and hope does not put us to shame, because God's love has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit who has been given to us. – Romans 5:3-5

Devotional

Having hope is not shameful. We tend to say, “Let’s hope for the best” or “I don’t want to hold out hope”. We think it is bad to see the good in a difficult situation because we don’t want to be let down. But God will never let us down. We have to trust that the Lord has the best plan for our lives and that everything will work out the way it is supposed to.

In His hope, we are saved.
