Tony is ordained as a Local Pastor by the Western North Carolina Conference of the United Methodist Church to serve student-athletes at High Point University.
Tony graduated from the University of Florida in 1971 with a Business degree in Banking and Finance then embarked on a career as a Golf Professional. He was a member of the 1968/69 University of Florida National Champion Golf Team. He returned to school for a Master’s Degree in accounting proceeding to work in Public Accounting until he started his own Real Estate Development business. Tony sold that business after thirty five years and relocated to Jamestown, North Carolina in 2013 with his wife to be closer to family. He maintained a long standing relationship with The Fellowship of Christian Athletes which led him to attend Pfeiffer University and completing a Master of Arts in Practical Theology embarking on a new career in Sports Ministry. He was Commissioned at Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center, Division of FaithHealth, Department of Chaplaincy & Clinical Ministry in the summer of 2017. He was inducted into Theta Alpha Kappa Honor Society in May of 2018. Theta Alpha Kappa is a theological honor society for Seminary graduates at the top of their graduating class.
Tony and his wife Ellen live in Jamestown, North Carolina, have four children and eleven grandchildren.
