The St. Mary’s program is designed to provide students with a personalized and integrated living and learning experience in a British university. St. Mary’s, originally founded in 1850 as a Catholic College, welcomes students of all faiths and traditions, both Christian and non-Christian. With a total enrollment of about 3,500 students, St. Mary’s University occupies a single, self-contained campus, consisting of around thirty acres of lawns and playing fields near the River Thames. This picturesque site is surrounded by the quiet, leafy avenues of an attractive residential district. St. Mary’s is located to the west of London at Strawberry Hill in the Borough of Richmond Upon Thames, which has a huge range of interesting shops, restaurants and deli’s, and also an excellent choice of pubs, nightclubs, and cafes. The UK's efficient train system puts cities like London and it's museums, concert halls, theatres, galleries, and nightlife within an evening's or weekend's reach.

Credit Transfer
For High Point University to recognize the credits you complete abroad, you must earn at least a grade equivalent to a C in the U.S. HPU will not accept credit for courses with grades of C– or below. Grades for all courses earned abroad are recorded on the international transcript. Credits are received by HPU as transfer credits, which means the credit is received but the grade is not. Your HPU grade point average will not be impacted positively or negatively by your study abroad courses.
