The Webb School of Engineering has found creative ways to facilitate interaction while also maintaining the guidelines of social distancing. The department of Electrical & Computer Engineering hosted a pizza party for their freshman and sophomore class where the students had an opportunity to meet and network with classmates, relax with their new friends, speak with the Department Chair, and enjoy pizza and sweets.
The department of Computer Science and the Student Government Association held a Meet and Greet event. Because of the vast size of the freshman class, this gave the students an opportunity to meeting members of their cohort who are in different sections of their courses as well as have a chance to interact with the 5- member Faculty team.
