Rhys Wittenberg, Certified Nurse Practitioner - Rhys received a Bachelor of Science degree in Nursing at The University of Tennessee, Knoxville. She received her Master of Science degree in Family Nurse Practitioner at Carson-Newman College in Jefferson City, Tennessee. She is certified by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners.
Alicia Bouska, Certified Physician Assistant - Alicia received a Bachelor of Science degree in Sports Medicine at Guilford College. She is a graduate of the Physician Assistant program at Bowman Gray School of Medicine at Wake Forest University. She is certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is licensed by the North Carolina Medical Board. She has practiced locally for 15 years in family medicine, urgent care, and student health before joining our staff in 2013.
Susan Disher, LPN, Immunization Compliance Administrator - Susan earned her Licensed Practical Nurse degree at Forsyth Technical Community College. She has extensive experience as a Licensed Practical Nurse. As a mother, she understands the importance of compassionate and quality care for our students. Susan and her family reside in Thomasville, NC.
Sytwesha Washington, CMA - Sytwesha received her Medical Assisting training through Cedar's Medical Center in South Carolina and received her certification through AAMA. She is certified in bone density testing through York Technical College, and she received certification in phlebotomy from Professional Medical Services. Sytwesha takes pride in being a mother and she understands the need to provide a calm and caring demeanor for our students.
Melissa LambethMelissa Lambeth, CMA - Melissa received her CMA certification through Guilford Technical Community College. Melissa is a wife and mother. She is passionate about helping others and enjoys the outdoors.
Peggy Michael, CMA-Peggy earned her CMA certification from NHA and she previously obtained her phlebotomy certification from Davidson County Community College. Aside from her medical experience, Peggy also has children and several grandchildren, so she understands the importance of taking care of others.
Stephanie Hutchens-Stephanie has served as a Patient Services Coordinator at the student health clinic since 2012. She loves the environment at HPU and enjoys interacting with and getting to know the students. She and her husband reside in Winston-Salem.
