About Computational Science & Engineering Fellows

The Computational Science & Engineering Fellows Program is designed for high-achieving students with exceptional promise in computing, engineering, mathematical sciences and other Bachelor of Science majors in the Webb School of Engineering. Each year, 25 new fellows join a unique, multi-year experience focused on professional development, leadership, and service learning. Our mission is to nurture confident leaders and lifelong learners, prepared for graduate study and impactful careers.

Open to any BS majors in the Webb School of Engineering:

  • Data Analytics and Statistics
  • Electrical Engineering
  • General Engineering
  • Mathematical Economics
  • Mathematics
  • Mechanical Engineering

  • Selection based on high school performance and essay responses.
  • Maintain a minimum 3.0 GPA (minimum 2.75 GPA in the 1st year), active participation, and professionalism to continue in the program.
  • Lateral entry available for eligible freshmen, sophomores and juniors.

To be considered for membership into the Computational Science & Engineering Program, you must first submit your High Point University undergraduate admissions application.

Then, please complete your Computational Science & Engineering Program application through your Panther Page by January 15 for priority applicants, and by March 1 for all others.
