Volunteering is FUN!
Our success in attracting the finest and the most extraordinary new students and their families to High Point University reflects our academic excellence, the incredible opportunities for experiential learning in every major, the development of Life skills and modeling values while building character over their 4 years while attending HPU– these Four Pillars of Academic Success distinguishes us from our competitors. Our volunteers help us maintain that tradition by encouraging academically talented students to apply to and attend High Point University.

As an HPU Admissions Volunteer, you’ll have the chance to provide the one-on-one interaction, personal attention, and encouragement that can make the difference between a student choosing HPU or enrolling at another college or university. Providing your perspective, and maybe that Extraordinary moment, as a High Point University alum or parent is key to our program’s strength and success.

Assistant Director of Admissions for Parent and Alumni Engagement
My name is Gina Weathers and I am the Assistant Director of Admissions for Parent and Alumni Engagement at High Point University. I am also a parent of an HPU Alumnus. My son Logan graduated in 2020!

I am talking with parents just like you who currently has a student (or Alumni), that is having positive experiences here at HPU! My goal is to create a valuable resource for prospective parents as they assist their child in making one of the biggest decisions in their young life.

As a valued parent of a current student, would you be interested in sharing your extraordinary experiences with prospective families? As a parent/alumni advocate, we think your genuine input can make a difference to help other parents as they navigate through the decision process.

If you would be interested in or would like more information on becoming a parent/alumni advocate, please contact me by phone or email. I am excited to hear from you!!
